- June 28th ~ 35th Anniversary Party
Join us in celebrating our 35th Anniversary, and spend the day under the arbor with the Demostene Family! Ed & Dave will be manning the bar-b-que, Cindy and Peachie will gladly share great Sausal stories over a glass of Zin, and Sophie and Gypsie will make their usual rounds, hoping for a bite to eat! We will have a great selection of classic cars to check out (including some owned by Ed & Dave), live music, a delicious catered lunch, and most importantly, award winning Sausal Zinfandels! - August 2nd ~ Members Only Vineyard Hiking Tour and Luncheon
This will be a great opportunity to get out your hiking shoes and enjoy a beautiful tour of our vineyards. The tour will include a stop at our 90 year old vines, with a taste of the 2005 Private Reserve Zinfandel, and a stop at our 130 year-old Century Vines where you will enjoy the sold out, 2005 Century Vines Zinfandel. We will conclude the day with a deliciously catered lunch under the arbor, by our favorite catering company, King Richard Catering. You will also have the opportunity to taste and purchase a special pre-release of one of our 2006 Old Vine Zinfandels.
Date: Saturday August 2nd, 2008
Time: Hike starts promptly at 9:30 a.m.
Cost: $40.00 per person includes lunch and a Sausal baseball cap
This will be a leisurely 1-mile hike that will last about an hour
Be sure to wear comfortable shoes
Please, no pets or children
